To revive the historic center of Salzburg, colorful accents have been set in public space since 2018 with original and innovative brass music at the BRASSerie festival. The landscape of brass bands has driven many original and ingenious flowers in recent years. This trend has now reached Salzburg. The stylistic range of the bands from Austria and neighboring countries reaches from straight Dixieland to Classical & Crossover, Balkan, New Orleans, Impro & Jazz up to Pop & Rock Covers.
